- Power of attorney legalized up to the Yemen Consulate. 
- Design of the trademark in JPEG format in case of a graphical trademark (not required for word mark).
- The details of goods and/or services for witch the trademark will be registered or the classes in case they are known.
- Details of the trademark owner (name, address, registration number).
- Invoicing details (name, address, fiscal number, registration number).
- Certified copy of priority document in case priority is to be claimed.
- The certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation or Extract of the Commercial Register which should include the name, address, date of incorporation and objectives of the trademark.

Trademark registration procedure in Yemen:

The procedure of registration lasts 12 months. The trademark will be published 2 times before the registration and after registration in AI Tijarah Journal. The opposition can be done within 6 months. The protection lasts 10 years from the filing date.

Other trademark procedures in Yemen:

Trademark renewal in Yemen: The trademark renewal may be done within the 12 months before expiry with a grace period of 3 months. For the renewal we need the legalized power of attorney up to the Yemen Consulate, the copy of the registration certificate and the certified copy of priority in case it will be claimed. After renewal the protection lasts 10 years.
Trademark change in Yemen: For changing the address or the name we need the power of attorney duly legalized up to the Yemen Consulate under the new name or address, a legalized copy of the certificate of incorporation or an extract from the commercial register which reflects the change of the name/address, a copy of the trademark registration certificate and the certified copy of priority document in case it will be claimed.
