INTERNATIONAL TRADEMARKS
International Trademark, also known as WIPO Trademark, is the trademark registration under the Madrid Agreement and Madrid Protocol. International Trademark grants protection in many countries by filing a single trademark registration request, based on a single application or registration in one of the member states.
Such registration will be done faster and at a lower cost than filing requests in each member country, as you will need to hire local patent attorneys only if there will be refusals, objections and trademark oppositions to the international trademark filed in some of the countries, according to national procedures.
It is good to keep in mind that we may handle for you not only the trademark registration with WIPO but also any provisional or final trademark refusals, as well as the possible trademark oppositions and contestations in the national stage in the designated countries.
