Sweden is a part of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) treaties, as fallows:
- WIPO Convention, since April 1970.
- Paris Convention (Industrial Property), since July 1885.
- Madrid Protocol (International Registration of Marks), since December 1995.
- Nice Agreement (International Classification of Goods and Services), since July 1961.
- Vienna Agreement (International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks), since August 1985.
As a part of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Sweden is Member and Signatory to TRIPS Agreement, since January 1995.
Sweden is also member of The Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) - The Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union, since January 1995.
Membership of other bodies/treaties: UCC, UPOV.
