Slovenia is a part of  WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) treaties, as fallows:
- WIPO Convention, since June 1991.
- Paris Convention (Industrial Property), since June 1991.
- Madrid Agreement (International Registration of Marks), since June 1991.
- Madrid Protocol (International Registration of Marks), since March 1998.
- Nice Agreement (International Classification of Goods and Services), since June 1991.
- Vienna Agreement (International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks), since August 2001.
- Nairobi Treaty (Olympic Symbol), since May 1998.
- TLT (Trademark Law Treaty), since May 2002.

As a part of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Slovenia is Member and Signatory to TRIPS Agreement, since July 1995.

Slovenia is also member of The Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market (OHIM) - The Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union.  

Membership of other bodies/treaties: CEFTA, EPO, UCC, UPOV.
- Member of CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement ) since January 1996.
- Member of EPO (Extension State) since March 1994.
- Member of UCC since November 1992.
- Member of UPOV (International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants) since July 1999.
