- WIPO Convention since July 14, 1980;
- Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883;
As member of World Trade Organization (WTO), Philippines is part of Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS Agreement) (1994) since 1 January 1995.
