Oman is a part of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) treaties, as fallows:- WIPO Convention, since February 1997.
- Paris Convention (Industrial Property), since July 1999.
- Madrid Protocol (International Registration of Marks), since October 2007.
- Nairobi Treaty (Olympic Symbol), since March 1986.
- TLT (Trademarks Law Treaty), since October 2007.
As a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Oman is Member and Signatory to TRIPS Agreement, since November 2000.
Membership of other bodies/treaties:
- Member of Gulf Cooperation Council, since November 1981.
- Member of UPOV (Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants) since November 2009.- Nairobi Treaty (Olympic Symbol), since March 1986.
- TLT (Trademarks Law Treaty), since October 2007.
