INFORMATION ABOUT TRADEMARKS IN MONACO. In Monaco, the Trademarks are regulated by the Law No. 1058, June 1983, on Trademarks and Service Marks; Sovereign Ordinance Laying Down the Implementing Conditions for Law No. 1,058 of June 10, 1983, on Trademarks and Service Marks (No. 7,801 of September 21, 1983); Sovereign Ordinance on the Classification of Goods and Services to Which Trademarks and Service Marks Apply (No. 7,802 of September 21, 1983); Ministerial Order Laying Down the Implementing Regulations under Law No. 1,058 of June 10, 1983, on Trademarks and Service Marks (No. 83-448 of September 21, 1983).

International legislation

Monaco is a part of  WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) treaties, as fallows:
- WIPO Convention, since March 1975.
- Paris Convention (Industrial Property), since April 1956.
- Madrid Agreement (International Registration of Marks), since April 1956.
- Madrid Protocol (International Registration of Marks), since September 1996.
- Nice Agreement (International Classification of Goods and Services), since April 1961.
- TLT (Trademarks), since September 1996.

Monaco is not a part of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Membership of Other bodies/treaties: Member of UCC since June 1955.
