International legislation
Indonesia is membership of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) treaties as part of:
- WIPO Convention since December 18, 1979;
- Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883;
- Trademark Law Treaty adopted at Geneva on October 27, 1994.
As member of World Trade Organization (WTO), Indonesia is part of Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS Agreement) (1994) since 1 January 1995.
