Bangladesh is membership of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) treaties as part of:
- WIPO Convention since May 11, 1985;
- Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883;
As member of World Trade Organization (WTO), Bangladesh is part of Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS Agreement) (1994) since 1 January 1995.
